The Technology Education Program has been designed to allow all students to explore and concentrate in the following areas of study: Drafting, Graphics, Photography, Electronics, Metal and Wood. All students in grades 9 through 12 would begin at the exploratory level taking courses that run for 1 / 2 year (18 weeks). After exploring as many courses as possible, the student can then choose to concentrate in an area. The sequence within any area can continue for 3 years and lead, upon graduation, to work or enrollment in a 2 or 4 year college.

The Technology Education Department provides problem-based learning for all students utilizing tools, machines, materials, and systems of technology. These concrete experiences, resulting from the integration of mathematics, science, and engineering concepts, prepares students for either post-secondary education or to enter the workforce. In a society that is rapidly changing, influenced in a large part by technology, Technology Education is an essential learning experience, providing for academic, technical, and social growth. The courses offer a pathway to the construction management industry, engineering and many other related well-paying professions. Our course offerings are half year and full year courses and can be scheduled with required graduation requirements.
