The Salem High School Career & Technical Education Department is a Massachusetts Chapter 74 Certified Department. Completers receive 1000 hours of training and a Massachusetts Career & Technical Education Certificate in addition to their high school diploma. This certificate enables a student to receive career & technical education credit toward an apprenticeship or advanced standing in the military.
An Exploratory Program is offered to all first-year students, which allows them to delve into each of the career & technical education programs before making their final selection.
