ESL Students Create Immigration History Walking Tour
As part of their study of local history, intermediate ESL students learned about places in our community that have been important to immigrants during the course of Salem's recent history (1900-present). They conducted research to learn about the historical significance of these sites, as well as their importance today, and used what they learned to create an audio walking tour. The tour has been uploaded to Youtube so that others can learn more about Salem's rich and ever-changing history.
