Editor’s note: Line Drives is an occasional Q and A that we’ll host with a local high school softball player.
1. How did you get your start in softball?: I began playing T-ball when I was 4 or 5, then Little League softball when I was 6 or 7, and I never stopped. I played a lot of different sports, but that was the one that stuck.
2. What do you enjoy most about pitching?: Knowing that you’re always doing something as the one with the ball and being in control of each pitch. That, and the act of improving: striking batters out or getting them to make outs and knowing you’re better better at it.
