Located in the auditorium of the Saltonstall School at 211 Lafayette Street in Salem, the Salem High School Community Office is open every Tuesday and Thursday evening from 4 to 7pm.
The Community Office is staffed with Salem High School teachers who provide in-person academic support for all students. No appointment is necessary, any student can drop in and stay for as long as they wish to receive in-person support from Salem High School teachers.
The Community Office is available as a safe place for students to engage in social activities. As part of a partnership with the Salem Boys and Girls Club, the Community Office hosts basketball games and other sports activities for students. Meals are provided to all students who attend courtesy of ROOT, and free childcare is available.
