SALEM — Local youth recently completed a five-week pilot employment program in which they gained hands-on experience working at a variety of city departments.
The MassHire North Shore’s F1rstJobs program, now in its 20th year, is a pilot youth employment program in which local students ages 14-21 are provided with professional mentoring, hands-on job experience and foundational career skills.
