The Salem News: Salem’s Doyle receives prestigious Tedesco Award

Guy Tedesco was known for being an unselfish leader, a positive force for the game of golf and, oh yeah, as great player, too.
That also sounds like a great way to describe Salem’s Ethan Doyle ’21.
Now a senior at Salem State University, Doyle received the 2024 Guy Tedesco Award from the New England Intercollegiate Golf Association at its annual championship banquet last month. Doyle was selected from among all college golfers in New England in Divisions 1, 2 and 3 for the award which recognizes golfers who show leadership, sportsmanship and love and promotion of the game.
