VIEW GALLERY: Twenty-Five SHS Seniors Apply for Early Action, Early Decision

It’s starting to get real for a group of Salem High School seniors.

Twenty-five SHS seniors completed and submitted early action and early decision applications to 60 different colleges and universities Friday, Nov. 1 at the College and Career Center.

‘Early action’ is a college application option that allows prospective students to receive an early admission decision without having to commit to attending the school. ‘Early decision’ is a binding commitment to attending to college for which a student applies.

Early decision applicants typically hear of acceptance in December while early action students receive the decision of acceptance by February.
